The 2024/25 snooker season is already under way, with the action kicking off at the start of this week with the Championship League ranking event, and World Snooker has now released the provisional schedule for the entirety of the campaign. All 125 players on the tour can look forward to a trip to Saudi Arabia after it was confirmed there would be no qualifying for the event in Riyadh in August.

World Snooker has released its provisional schedule for the 2024/25 season, with the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters set to feature all 125 players on the tour.
Saudi Arabia will host a ranking event for the first time, following on from the invitational World Masters of Snooker last term, and the whole tour will decamp on Riyadh.
The structure of the event has not been confirmed, but 144 players will be in the field vying for a share of a prize pool expected to be in the region of £2 million.
The Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters will get under way on August 30, and run until September 7, following on from the Xi'an Grand Prix (August 19-25).
While the season began this week with the Championship League ranking event, the first tournament of note will take place in Asia with the Shanghai Masters from July 15 to 21.
The UK Championship is the first of snooker’s Triple Crown events, and it will run from November 23 to December 1 at York’s Barbican Centre.
Alexandra Palace is the venue for The Masters, the second Triple Crown, and it will run from January 12 to 19.
The 2024/25 season will conclude with the World Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield from April 19 to May 5.
