EUROPE 3 - 6 0 - 1 *WORLD
It gets better for Auger-Aliassime with the early break in the second! Auger-Aliassime pushes his opponent to 30-40, and Djokovic can only net a regulation backhand to trigger big celebrations on the World bench. What is going on with Djokovic? As we're shown footage of the 34-year-old shaking out his wrist behind the scenes before the match, he is then seen doing the same on the court. Are those two matches yesterday - after so long out - catching up with him?

EUROPE* 3 - 6 0 - 0 WORLD
Auger-Aliassime handles the pressure to win the game, and the set! Mark Petchey and Jim Courier in the comm box are struggling to work out why Djokovic's levels have dropped off, but that they have done in the face of this Canadian onslaught. Federer gives Djokovic a pep talk on the Europe bench, calling on his man to "fire it up".
14:58
EUROPE 3 - 5* WORLD
My my, Auger-Aliassime breaks! Remarkable stuff at the 02, as the Canadian slams a forehand winner, and then pushes on to seal the game to move to 5-3. He's really turned this around!
14:54
EUROPE *3 - 4 WORLD
How did Auger-Aliassime escape there? Djokovic forces a break point, but then loses his cool after a line call - initially overruled by the chair umpire - is ruled to be out by hawk-eye, the Serb slamming down his towel. Auger-Aliassime then manages to make his way to game point, and squeezes his way out of trouble to make it 4-3. Djokovic, surrounded by advisors Casper Ruud and Cam Norrie, looks perplexed at the changeover.
14:50
EUROPE 3 - 3* WORLD
That's a good hold from Djokovic, and he is just solidifying his game here, which just went off the boil in the last few games.
14:45
EUROPE *2 - 3 WORLD
Felix - as he was doing in the doubles earlier - hits his spots on serve, and when Djokovic goes long with a backhand, World have taken three games in a row. You wouldn't have predicted that when Djokovic got the early break. Suddenly it's Djokovic who needs to lay down a marker on his serve. Frances Tiafoe - up next in the singles against Stefanos Tsitsipas - is seen backstage having his picture taken with Tom Hiddleston and Roger Federer.
14:42
EUROPE 2 - 2* WORLD
After a quick hold from Auger-Aliassime, John McEnroe shares some tactical insight with his man during the sit-down, and the Canadian takes Djokovic to 30-30 as the Serb - for some reason - leaves a ball that drifts a long way in. Oh, but that's an opportunity missed from Auger-Aliassime as he nets a volley on break point up. But here's another, and it's thanks to McEnroe's advice to slice! And Djokovic doesn't even make Auger-Aliassime play, sending down a double fault. The Canadian therefore breaks back, and we're all square!

EUROPE 2 - 0* WORLD
Tim Henman has a chat with actor Tom Hiddleston - who also did the coin toss - on the Team Europe bench as game two gets underway, and it's more brilliance from Djokovic behind his own serve as he rattles to 30-15, before a forehand winner and a gruelling rally takes Djokovic to the game, and a 2-0 lead.
14:26
EUROPE *1 - 0 WORLD
Some start already for Djokovic, as if we should be surprised! The Serbian steams to the net after some fine approach play to bring up two break points. A strong Auger-Aliassime serve saves one of them, but then he pulls a forehand wide to give Djokovic the early lead. Ominous signs early on for the Canadian.

DJOKOVIC, AUGER-ALIASSIME WALKING ONTO COURT FOR HUGE SINGLES CLASH
Right, ready to go again? This should be a terrific match-up, with Novak Djokovic - imperious yesterday against Frances Tiafoe - playing his second singles match of the tournament against Felix Auger-Aliassime. The Canadian is coming fresh off his doubles win...will he be tired, warmed-up, confident, or all three?

EUROPE 6 - 2 3 - 6 8 - 10 WORLD
Chest and fist bumps all round for World, as they celebrate their fine win. That was a fantastic serve from Auger-Aliassime on match point, and an even better clutch volley from Sock. Murray and Berrettini look crestfallen, but they more than played their part in a fantastic match. And it brings the overall tie back to 8-7 - it's finely poised before Felix comes back out to face Novak Djokovic in a little over 20 minutes...
13:55
EUROPE 6 - 2 3 - 6 8 - 10 WORLD
And there it is! World win!
13:54
EUROPE 6 - 2 3 - 6 8 - 9 *WORLD
Just when he needed it, Auger-Aliassime finds an unreturnable serve out wide. And then Berrettini makes a just-as-impressive second serve on the following point, keeping the scores equal. This is on a knife-edge! Oh and a Murray error brings up a match point for World!
13:51
EUROPE 6 - 2 3 - 6 7 - 7 *WORLD
Oof, that's a proper dig out volley from Murray, and it - crucially - gets his team back to 7-6. And he's at it again, sneaking across to poach a Sock forehand, pulling his team level at 7-7.
13:49
EUROPE* 6 - 2 3 - 6 5 - 7 WORLD
That's Andy Murray! Graft and nous from the Scot as he fires forehand after forehand at the World pair, and finally forces the error. But he blots his copybook straight after, missing a second serve down the T to double fault.
13:46
EUROPE 6 - 2 3 - 6 4 - 5 *WORLD
High fives aplenty for the European pair at the change of ends, but World make the most of their serve to narrow the deficit to 4-3. And then a stunning Sock down-the-liner after Murray had moved across levels it up at 4-4. Oh a collectors' item as Berrettini double faults, at the worst possible time! World take the lead in the breaker, and they serve next...
13:42
EUROPE 6 - 2 3 - 6 3 - 2 *WORLD
That's the perfect way to start for Europe, with an out-wide Berrettini ace. Volley errors from both Auger-Aliassime and Murray make it 2-2, before an excellent Murray serve - also out wide - gives Europe the lead early on.
